The official camouflage pattern for uniform BDU is Woodland, which is a camouflage for the forest.

Army Combat Uniform or ACU is a new combat uniform of the United States Army. Using digitally created universal camouflage pattern – ACUPAT that contain elements of the green, sand and gray colors for versatile use in temperate climates, desert and urban environments. It also includes lots of practical improvements based on the wishes of soldiers.

The great change that brings ACU is camouflage. It combines forest, desert and urban camouflage pattern into one. This camouflage pattern became known under the name of ACU.
