Device that gives to BBs backward rotation which causes the airflow due to buoyancy (the principle known for airplane wings), and thus effectively overcome gravitational force and settlement of ballistic curve. Guns equipped with this device have a range of about 50% higher than without the Hop-Up and at the same muzzle velocity. Right set hop-up will significantly increase the range weapons even at relatively low muzzle velocity. Airsoft guns can have an adjustable Hop-Up, fixed Hop-Up, or it may completely without.

cartridges with high capacity, BBs are filled through flip window on top of the mag and during firing are loaded by "mill", which is driven by a leaf spring. The benefits are high capacity, reliable feeding. Disadvantages typical BBs rattle.
